Here's the latest!

Who's your "Papi"?!
11-July-06 Hi y'all! Long time no see? Yes, it HAS been a while, but this man HAS been busy. Lotsa voiceover work, music, many independent film projects in the works, and here's one you will really dig. The short independent film is called "Papi" and it's directed by a young, brilliant, future superstar writer/director called Milton Diaz. It's a 15-minute, bittersweet, "rite-of-passage" story with the feel and emotional intensity of a full-length feature film. It will premiere at the New York International Latino Film Festival on Thursday, July 27th and Sunday, July 30th at Florence Gould Hall, 55 East 59th street, NYC. For more info, go to the festival website www.nylatinofilm.com. See you there! "

Gus will be a "God" in Vegas!
27-September-04 The Masters Circle, an organization that offers leadership coaching, practice building and personal development to Doctors of Chiropractic, has cast Gus as the "Voice of God" for their 4th annual SuperConference in Las Vegas. Gus' vocal presence will serve as a form of "invisible host" to the anticipated crowd of 2500 which will include Doctors of Chiropractic, Chiropractic Assistants, guests, and members and staff of The Masters Circle. The extravaganza will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas November 4-6, 2004."

Gus' First Feature Film on DVD!
19-July-04 Gus Scharr's first feature film TRAMPS is now available on DVD in the United States under the title SEA DEVILS. The film was made in and around the Philippines and stars Stacy Keach. Gus plays the role of The Bosun, a burly (and very angry) mercenary-turned-pacifist serving on a tramp steamer called the Argo. The ship is populated by colorful characters who are political outcasts from different nations. The DVD is on sale at Amazon.com. "It is a beautiful-looking film and it was a great starting picture for me."

Tamago Films Short Hits the Web!
26-June-04 Tamago Films, the independent film company helmed by Jeffery Morehouse and Gus Scharr unveils it's comic short film "Being Marlon Brando." The film is available for viewing and download at the Tamago Films website (www.TamagoFilms.com) in its AVAILABLE NOW area. The five-minute film not only makes use of Gus' acting talents (he plays Brando and the voice of a latino radio DJ), but also music composed and recorded by Gus specifically for the film. "The challenge, both with the Brando performance and the musical compositions, was to provide enough essence of The Godfather/Brando for the humor to work."
